Disney Advertising kicks off the 2023-24 college football season by welcoming Inspire Brands as a new sponsor for College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, as college football’s premier pregame show returns for its 37th season on ESPN. As part of a three-year agreement, the global multi-brand restaurant company has signed on as the newest official sponsor. Several of the individual brands under the Inspire umbrella will be featured via in-show integrations and onsite activations this season. Inspire Brands will develop new and innovative ways for its brands to connect with college football fans nationwide during the popular three-hour Saturday morning show.
“Every year, there is so much anticipation for the college football season among fans, as well as advertisers. Our many offerings throughout the sport are very attractive to sponsors, and this year, we are thrilled to add Inspire Brands to the mix,” said Theresa Palmieri, Vice President, Disney Advertising Sports Brands Solutions. “Brands recognize College GameDay as an ideal opportunity to connect with college football’s most engaged fans nationwide, and our Disney team takes great pride in creating innovative solutions that foster these connections.”
As the newest official sponsor of ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, Inspire Brands will be uniquely integrated in the show throughout the entire 2023-24 college football season. The brand will collaborate with Disney’s CreativeWorks to develop custom creative that integrates College GameDay and the show’s on-air personalities. The assets will live across linear, addressable, and onsite, and will be shared across three of Inspire’s brands - Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Dunkin – during the season as the show travels to different college campuses and game sites each week.
Multi-year sponsors Aflac, AT&T, Coors Light, DoorDash, The Home Depot, GEICO, and Old Dominion Freight Line will continue to be part of College GameDay for the 2023-24 season. Every week, The Home Depot will be celebrating its “Doer of the Week,” in addition to giving fans the opportunity to interact with a College GameDay replica desk onsite.
Aflac will continue to keep fans informed and entertained about college football for another three seasons. The beloved Aflac Trivia Question returns weekly, bringing the trivia fun right to fans onsite and across screens for those indulging in gameday festivities from afar. AT&T will keep fans at home connected to all the game action during the season and continue building excitement towards the College Football Playoff National Championship run. Coors Light toasts to another season of the iconic Saturday Selections on-air and across social, encouraging fans to make their game picks on the new College GameDay homepage.
DoorDash returns for another season preparing fans for college football every Saturday by introducing Dashboard, where analyst and on-air personalities will breakdown plays ahead of the game. Throughout the college football season, Goodyear will provide aerial and drone coverage for College GameDay and celebrate the teams, fans, and communities on the road with its Road Test feature.
Old Dominion Freight Line, the Official Freight Services Sponsor of ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, returns for another season with college football’s premier pregame show. In its second year of sponsorship, the brand will once again bring the energy, sponsoring fan bleachers every week with a fully customized look and feel. Old Dominion Freight Line will also sponsor the weekly Best in the Game feature, as well as the College GameDay podcast, where host Rece Davis and college football insider Pete Thamel discuss the biggest college football stories, offer analysis and insights, and preview each week’s games.
Additional College GameDay sponsors include GEICO, whom will also be featured throughout the season. GEICO will also collaborate with Disney’s CreativeWorks on a commercial shoot including College GameDay’s very own Desmond Howard and will have a 10’x10’ on-site footprint giving away premium items to fans.
Coke Zero Sugar also returns to College GameDay as a media partner and will shine a light on the best fans through the broadcast’s Fan Cam. Additionally, the brand will get fans excited each week across social with All-Access Instagram stories which include fan polls.
College GameDay Built by The Home Depot kicks off in Charlotte, N.C., with a “Battle of the Carolinas” on Saturday, September 2nd, featuring a rivalry game between the North Carolina Tar Heels and South Carolina Gamecocks. College GameDay Built by The Home Depot airs from 9 AM - Noon ET on ESPN and ESPNU every Saturday throughout the football season and is available to stream via the ESPN App.
