This fall ACC Network (ACCN) will take its signature football show, The ACC Huddle, on the road for select primetime matchups throughout the season. Starting Sept. 10, The ACC Huddle will offer official ACC sponsors – Bojangles, Food Lion, Gatorade, New York Life and Subway – the opportunity to directly connect with college football fans in their natural habitat with one-of-a-kind on-site activations.
"We are thrilled to have The ACC Huddle back on the road and bring our sponsors along for the ride,” said Theresa Palmieri, Vice President, Disney Advertising Sports Brand Solutions. “This is a huge benefit to our ACC partners, and we are happy to provide them with a unique and interactive opportunity to engage with their consumers in a way that only Disney can.”
The ACC Huddle on the Road will consist of five stops at various ACC schools throughout the college football season; the first of which being this weekend in Blacksburg, Va., for a matchup between Boston College and Virginia Tech.
Each week, the network will transform a designated section of the host university into an on-site studio from where talent will report live. Personalities from the network’s new weekday afternoon show ACC PM and The ACC Huddleincluding Mark Packer, Tre Boston and Taylor Tannebaum, as well as Jordan Cornette, Eric Mac Lain, EJ Manuel and Mark Richt will be onsite throughout the weekend.
Fans will have the opportunity to be part of the telecasts participating in numerous ACCN-themed activities, sponsor activations, giveaways, and can even watch live football games streamed on several giant screens and televisions throughout the area.
ACC partners will not only benefit from traditional media packages, but brands will also have a presence and a direct connection with students, fans and alumni across the country on various campuses throughout the season.
